Biography
Tayyub Yaqoob is a Senior Digital Analyst at 8 Million Stories in Stirling, Scotland, where he builds forecasting, machine-learning and reporting-automation systems for client analytics teams. His client work spans the BBC, Tesco Financial, General Mills, Royal London and NerdWallet — a mix in which financial services and personal finance are the largest share.
His day-to-day work is quantitative and measurement-led: channel and query forecasting on BigQuery and GA4, LLM-assisted sentiment and topic classification, embedding-based competitor content mapping, and tracking how brands surface across AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity. He also builds Codex, 8 Million Stories' internal competitive-intelligence and site-performance platform.
He has written on AI, crypto and quantum risk for Cointelegraph and AlphaWire since 2023, has been cited as an expert source by CCN and Inside Higher Ed, and has completed three invited book-chapter peer reviews for IGI Global.
