Terms of service
The agreement between you and LedgerTouch. The short version: it is a tracking tool, not an adviser, and nothing on it is a recommendation.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using LedgerTouch, you agree to be bound by these terms of service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the service.
2. Description of service
LedgerTouch is a portfolio tracking application that allows users to monitor their investments across multiple asset classes. We provide tools for tracking performance, analysing allocation and gaining insights into your financial holdings.
3. Not financial advice
Important disclaimer. LedgerTouch is a tracking and visualisation tool only. We do not provide investment advice, financial planning or recommendations. The information displayed should not be construed as advice to buy, sell or hold any security. Always consult a qualified financial adviser before making investment decisions.
4. Account registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
5. Subscription and billing
LedgerTouch offers free and paid subscription plans. For paid plans:
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
- All new accounts receive a 30-day Pro trial with full feature access
- Continued use of the main workspace after the trial requires an active paid subscription
- You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
- Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use automated systems to access the service without permission
- Share your account credentials with others
- Resell or redistribute the service without authorisation
7. Intellectual property
The service, including its original content, features and functionality, is owned by LedgerTouch and is protected by international copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
8. Third-party data
Market data is provided by third-party sources including Yahoo Finance and CoinGecko. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of this data. Use of third-party data is subject to their respective terms of service.
9. Advertising
The blog carries display advertising served programmatically by Google AdSense. We do not choose which advertiser appears beside which article and we do not endorse any advertiser or anything advertised. Advertising has no influence on what we publish, as set out in the editorial policy. The data advertising uses, and how to refuse it, are covered by the cookie policy.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LedgerTouch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data or other intangibles, resulting from your use of the service.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.
13. Governing law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
