Getting started
Create a portfolio, then add holdings by ticker or by name. Transactions can be entered individually or imported from a CSV. Cost basis is calculated on FIFO by default, with LIFO and HIFO available if your reporting needs them.
Does it connect to my broker?
No. Holdings and transactions are entered or imported by you. LedgerTouch never asks for broker or bank login credentials, and it cannot place trades. That is a deliberate limit on what the product touches.
Where the prices come from
Market data is fetched from third-party providers. It can be delayed, and it can occasionally be wrong — particularly for less liquid instruments, overseas listings and anything that has recently changed ticker. Validate any figure that matters against your broker or the issuer before acting on it.
Billing, trials and cancellation
The 30-day trial does not require a card. Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Cancel at any time from the billing screen in your account; access continues to the end of the period already paid for. Full plan limits are on the pricing page.
Account security
Two-factor authentication is supported by SMS and by an authenticator app. Sensitive actions ask you to re-verify before they proceed. If you think an account has been accessed without permission, contact us and change the password immediately.
Data, deletion and privacy
You can export your data as CSV or PDF on the Pro and Enterprise plans, and request deletion of your account and its data at any time. What we store and why is set out in the privacy policy.
Corrections to published research
If a figure in a published guide looks wrong, tell us. Every article lists its sources, and material corrections are logged openly — see corrections and the editorial policy.
